Candy Coated Pecans

Preheat the oven to 350 ° .

Ingredients:

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup white sugar

½ cup sour cream

1 t. vanilla

2 ½ cups pecan halves

 

Directions:

Coat heavy saucepan with butter before cooking to prevent sticking.

(I use deep iron skillet.)

Mix brown sugar, sugar and sour cream.

Cook until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a hard ball.

Remove from fire, and add vanilla. Cool.

Then beat until thick. Add pecans and mix thoroughly until all pecans are coated. Pour out on buttered cookie sheet. When cool, break apart.

Delicious!!!
