Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies


½ cup butter – softened
¼ cup sugar + 2 T
¼ cup brown sugar + 2 T
½ t. vanilla
1 egg
½ t. salt
½ t. baking soda
1 ½ cups flour
¾ cup pretzel sticks broken in thirds
½ cup caramel bits

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Cream butter and sugars.
Add vanilla and egg.
Combine salt, baking soda and flour.
Gradually add to wet mixture.  Mix until combined.
Fold in pretzel pieces, caramel bits and chocolate chips with spatula.
Spoon onto baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

Bake at 350 degrees for 11-12 minutes.
