Sugar Doughnuts

(from biscuits)

Ingredients:

1 ten-count can of biscuits (not flaky)

1 cup sugar

1 ½ T. cinnamon

1 stick butter

Canola Oil

Directions:

Pour about ½ inch of oil into a skillet and heat on medium for a few minutes.

Combine cinnamon and sugar.

Melt butter.

Cut the center out of each biscuit using either a cookie cutter or a bottle cap.

Drop the biscuit into the oil and cook until golden brown on both sides being careful to not overcook. Place on a paper-towel lined dish. Cook the doughnut holes in the same manner.

Dip both sides of each doughnut into the melted butter, and then press both sides into the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Serve while still warm. Delicious!

(These may also be cooked in a deep fryer.)
