|
This is for a special time during the holidays to enjoy the fellowship and friendship of your lady friends either in the close personal setting of your home or for a church ladies meeting. Your Christmas decorations are already in place, so there is not a lot of time in preparation. If not, a small poinsettia plant at each table make a colorful and pretty decoration. The book “A Cup of Christmas Tea” by Tom Hegg is a wonderful story that can be read for everyone’s enjoyment. It can be found on Amazon.com or in your local bookstores. Food: Chicken Salad croissants with fruit accompaniment is perfect to serve. Miniature cheesecakes purchased at Sam’s Club or Costco is an easy alternative to baking. A tray of fudge or divinity is a great finger dessert. Hot Spiced Cranberry-Orange Tea

Fun: Just for fun have a cookie exchange. Everyone brings one dozen cookies per person involved. Each one goes home with a large variety of cookies, and she only had to bake one kind. Everyone loves this! For a take home favor provide a miniature teacup or teapot Christmas ornament. These can be purchased along with many other tea favors and supplies at www.distinctive-decor.com. Speaker: Have someone speak on the subject of Sereni “tea”. (Serenity) At this extremely busy time of year we all need more calmness in our life! |
