ARE YOU SUFFERING WITH INSOMNIA? |

DIFFUSE: |

Do you have a difficult time going to sleep at night? Some people struggle with this problem every night while others just have the occasional insomnia. At any rate, it is not very pleasant! Here are some essential oils and combinations that we have found to be helpful. Every night we put oils in the diffuser on our nightstand. We usually start it about a half hour before we go to sleep. Our number one favorite oil to help as a sleep aid is Lavender. It has a calming effect and promotes relaxation. You will find this is often used in a spa atmosphere. However, we rarely use this oil by itself. We often add peppermint. Lemon added as a third oil is also a very pleasant aroma. Cedarwood is another good oil for sleep aid. Peace and Calming, Valerian and Tranquil are also great oils that we use. These can all be purchased from Young Living. |

Not only do we diffuse the oils, we sometimes rub them on our wrists and back of neck or on the bottom of our feet. It is good to use a carrier oil such as jojoba or coconut in case your skin is sensitive to the essential oil. There are also pre-made roller balls that are easy to use. You can also make your own. |

Spraying your pillow with Lavender Oil also makes for pleasant sleep. You can purchase this oil in a spray, or you can make your own. |
