1. Stain Remover Stubborn stains are no problem for hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide will take blood stains out of any fabric except silk and satin. 2. Bleach Alternative A powerful and effective bleach alternative, hydrogen peroxide is a great way to brighten laundry. Include hydrogen peroxide in your prewash routine for heavily soiled laundry . Fill laundry, add detergent, 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then run through the cycle. 3. General Disinfectant Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent general disinfectant. Use it in a spray bottle for cleaning counters and tile. It can also be sued on doorknobs and light switches. It is great for both kitchens and bathrooms. 4. Odor Eliminator Use Hydrogen Peroxide to neutralize bad smells, especially pet odors. Keep it in a spray bottle. 5. Fruit and Vegetable Cleaner Remove pesticide residue and bacteria like E. coli from fresh produce with a combination of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. Spray some of each on your produce or fruit, and then rinse well. 6. Ear Wax Dissolver A drop or two of hydrogen peroxide sometimes works to remove ear wax buildup. Be sure to check with your doctor before using. 7. Toothbrush Sterilizer Soak toothbrushes for a few minutes in Hydrogen Peroxide to kill bacteria. 8. Teeth Whitener Swish a capful of Hydrogen Peroxide in your mouth for a few minutes to whiten teeth. It is much less expensive than the teeth-whitening products on the market.
