Organizing Helps

By: Wanda Fielder

As organizational tasks can be quite overwhelming, break your work down into small segments such as one drawer, one shelf, one cupboard, or one closet. As you accomplish each job, you will feel so much better and will be ready to move on to the next task. If your whole kitchen needs to be reorganized, break it down into one cupboard per day as per the chart below.

Your sense of accomplishment with just one completed task will help to motivate you to finish the job.

There are many organizational helps such as drawer dividers, plastic bins, and closet organizers that help make this job easier.

These can be purchased at your local home improvement stores or the discount stores such as Target and Wal-Mart.

I have found several on-line organizing helps that I would like to share with you. Take some time and research these sites. It might be just what you are looking for to get you started.

www.FlyLady.net

This is an interesting site that offers all kinds of assistance to meet your needs. It breaks down your housework into different zones. You can sign up for their e-mails, but I will warn you, they send a lot of them. You might just want to get your information from their web site. Take a look!

www.orghomesolutions.com

This site offers some great tips for your home organization. They also offer equipment for sale, but just glean some ideas from their repertoire.
