Decorations:

Purchase footed glass candy jars with lids at the dollar store. (or any clear glass vase) Fill them with the Valentine’s conversation hearts candy. Tie red ribbon around the top of the jar. This candy can be ordered in bulk at the following address:

Place them on a mirrored tile, and scatter heart shaped confetti and red and pink votive candles around the vases.

(You can also add a stem of flowers or balloons on a stick to the vases of candy, if you prefer.)

 

Favors:

Small boxes of conversation heart candy may be purchase and place at each individual place setting.

 

Devotion:

 

Proverbs 16:24, “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.”

Proverbs 25:11, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.”

 

Have someone speak on the importance of choosing our words and our conversation carefully. There are many examples in the Scripture about our words.
