Varied Uses for
Epsom Salt
|

- Foot Soak – Add 1 cup of Epsom salt to a large tub of warm water and soak feet for at least 20 minutes. It helps to soften rough skin and also relieves sore feet.
- Relieve Sprains and Bruises – Soaking in a tub of warm water and 2 cups Epsom salt will reduce swelling of sprains and bruises and relieves pain.
- Splinter Remover – Soaking in Epsom salt will draw out the splinter.

- Face Cleaner – Mix ½ teaspoon of Epsom salt with your regular cleansing cream. Massage into skin and rinse with cold water.
- Skin Exfoliator – Massage a handful of Epsom salt over your wet skin starting with your feet up to your face. Rinse with a bath.
- Hair Volumizer – Combine equal parts of deep conditioner with Epsom salt. Warm in a pan and then work the warm mixture through your hair. Leave on for 20 minutes.
- Improve Vegetable Growth – Add a tablespoon of Epsom salt to the soil below a tomato plant to boost growth.
- Tile/Grout Cleaner – Mix equal parts of liquid dish soap and Epsom salt and use to scrub tile and grout. Rinse well for a streak-free shine.
- Water House Plants – Help house plants grow by adding a couple tablespoons of Epsom salt to the water.
