The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord; and he delighteth
in his way.
Decorate each table with a shoe centerpiece. If planned
ahead of time, you can ask each lady to decorate a shoe, and give prizes
to the most unique, most beautiful, funniest, most creative, etc.
For favors purchase shoe magnets. If that is not available, there are
many notepads with a shoe theme. We found picture frames that had shoes
around the frame to give as gifts.
Game:
Guests will guess how many of the statements are true within the group.
Then ladies are asked to raise their hands if the phrase refers to them,
and count is taken.
1. You have kept your kids’ baby shoes.
2. You have a pair of red shoes.
3. You have owned a pair of tennis shoes.
4. You owned a pair of saddle oxfords.
5. You wear bedroom slippers in the house.
6. You have purchased a pair of shoes in the last six months.
7. You have never paid over $30.00 for a pair of shoes.
8. You own more than ten pairs of shoes.
9. There are shoes in your closet over five years old.
10. You once owned a pair of ballerina or tap shoes.
11. You once owned a pair of cowboy boots.
12. You like wearing sandals in the summer.
13. You have a child whose shoe size is larger than your own.
14. Your shoe size is larger than your mother’s.
15. You still have your wedding shoes.
